Who We Are

Our Association is welfare-focused, providing our members, both former and serving, with a discreet and trusted network of support for themselves and their immediate families. Our small team understands the difficult working and living conditions of our membership – each having served in, or alongside, the Regiment for several years. We work diligently and empathetically on behalf of the President, Executive Committee and membership.

The very recent creation of the SRRA Fundraising Subcommittee (FSC) reflects our desire for a greater and more cohesive fundraising output in order to support the Chief Executive’s intent to meet or exceed the SRRA’s five-year business plan.

Our Impact

The primary role of the Association is to support the wellbeing of former and serving Operators and their immediate families. This is enabled by our generous benefactors, supporters and friends, whose donations are spent in accordance with our Charitable Objects. An overview of our charitable expenditure is available on the Charities Commission website.

“From where we were a year ago, when we did not have anywhere to turn to, we could not be any prouder of (our child) and we will be able to relax through the summer, the first time in 18 months. None of this would have been achievable without the support of SRRA, the speedy diagnosis of their autism and ADHD meant everything else flowed into place.”

Support the SRRA

We currently rely on the support of trusted benefactors who are prepared to build a long-term relationship with the Association in order to achieve our strategic goals.

We also rely on pro bono professional expertise offered by our trusted legal and medical advisors, and aspire to expand this advisory panel moving forward.
